Deep-Fried Pink Oyster Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pink Oyster mushrooms, cleaned and separated
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cold soda water
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: Spicy mayo for dipping

Instructions

1. Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. 2. Gradually add soda water to create a smooth batter. 3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and dip mushroom pieces in the batter. 4. Fry until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side. 5. Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce.
